BETTER BY DESIGN The primary goal of Better by Design is to bring the best home product at the best price to Habitat homebuyers. This is accomplished by incorporating design and construction elements that improve the sustainability, affordability and livability of Habitat homes. Recent advances in the field of home construction and design have made such improvements cost effective and applicable to low-income housing. Better by Design seeks to serve local Virginia Habitat for Humanity affiliates by providing them with the most up-to-date information concerning changes and innovations in this sector, which can be grouped into three main categories: Article about EarthCraft Virginia Panelized, Pre-Framed, and Modular Homes
